The 20 Things I Miss Most

I've been thinking a lot lately about the things I miss from home. I'm not going to include things like family and friends because that's a given. There are things you don't realize how much you miss until you don't have them readily available ... Or the ability to find them easily. Also, I really don't want to start buying a bunch of stuff we got rid of before we left.

I won't list all 20 here, just one for now .... And these aren't in any kind of order. Also, I'll get some from Pat as well. I asked him about this recently and he said he doesn't really miss anything until someone makes a comment about certain things and then he'll miss it.

I, on the other hand, miss quite a few things. Little things. Things we take for granted in the states. Here's the first thing on my list.

1.  A Top Sheet

When you buy a sheet set here they don't include a top sheet. You can't buy a top sheet. None to be found ... As of yet anyway. The sheet sets here include a fitted sheet, two pillow cases, and two tootsie  roll cases. I don't know what else to call them. They have long tube foam pillows that go on the bed. If you don't buy the pillows, you're wasting the cases ... Right?!

We bought two tube pillows and they're on the bed ... We don't use them and they look nice but I'd much rather have a flat sheet. Tonight when you go to bed and get UNDER YOUR TOP SHEET, think of us, sheetless. Be thankful!
